Natural plants, such as trees, flowers, vegetables, and others follow another fabulous Fibonacci pattern. As shown in the picture, in each stage (labeled as the y axis), the number of stems increased resulting in a total of (one of the) Fibonacci numbers in the correct sequence. Suppose that when a plant shoots out a new stem, the stem has to grow for one month before it is strong enough to support splitting into two branches. Assume that the plant branches every month after this process, as shown in the picture below.
